Hi and thx! We are really happy, too (as you can guess :) ) Its just AWESOME.
We will share some data, but give us some more time (and more data).
Do you have enough data (and still want) to share any numbers yet? Whats it like at the top of the charts?

@zombie congrats again on all the success, I too look forward to hearing more about your story. I have been playing it simultaneously on my iphone and iPad all long weekend (memorial day). I need to quit playing so I can work on my game though!
I saw that you mentioned this link about skeletal animation bone systems on the chipmunk forums:
http://gpwiki.org/index.php/OpenGL:Tutorials:Basic_Bones_System
Was this what got you guys started? Care to post some more info / links as to what got you started? I'm trying to learn how to do it now and it will be used on insects :)

Great game guys! Im wondering what program the graphics for the zombie characters was made in. Im lovin the polished, clean look of the zombies! Also, how was some of the 3D perspective achieved? ...the blood on the floor seems to extend back into the z axis i think... also was anything done to the zombie character animations to make them look more 3D-ish? Im just starting out with Cocos2D and i think this is probably the best game made on this platform. Hopefully you'll be able to answer some of these questions. Congratulations on your success!

14 months of time, $40000 on graphics, few more thousands on music, PR, etc etc ; Man! you really need some guts to do that. :D It is about 4 years income of an average person in my country. :D Really inspiring! You deserve that success. :D Good luck with your new games.

It was not 14 month full time. We started it beside our university work. The last 7 month where full time for two people.

They *really* seems to love the in app purchase model, and suggest that it's 10 times more profitable for them in general....

Yes.. For that you have to build social games like Farm ville, City Ville etc. That will defnly work. I know one of my stingy friend who was compelled to buy some land it such a ville. :D

Yeah, and it's pretty darn high in the paid rankings :)
I don't remember seeing any application that could peak so high after an update before. Big congrats on that !

Ya.. It is now somewhere around 15. May be because of the millions of available users updating it? Anyway, the news got spread out that quickly about the update after an year of release and that's amazing. That might be something to do with the doctor's marketing tactics. Besides that, the algorithm apple use to rank is not understandable.
I have read somewhere one of the game doctors, Thomas has invented a hot wireless technology. But couldn't find any info on that. Will be happy if someone share something about it.

The update is massive - thanks!
Of course, I've been playing so much my wrists are cramping, and I've got3 days to go on Camp Nowhere.
Congrats on making a great game even better!
