   Hi all,

   i have an object that moving with sequence actions... while it is moving i want to add more actions to the end of its sequence with out interfering the animation

   make a long story short
   I want to create a path while the object moving and add to the path more points at the end of it on the fly.

   can it be done? or i have to plane ahead all the actions then send it to the object(which not fit my target)

   You could just run your "on the fly" animation once the initial one has completed.

   Is there a notification that occurs after a animation sequence has finished? If so, in the notification method, if there was a new sequence that was to be run, it could be run from there..

   Thanks for the fast reply guys,

   let me explain the game structure , I have a car object, in the game u need to draw a path for the car and the car will follow the path.

   the numbers of dynamically actions that i need to add every time are huge.

   your solution good for maybe if i want to add 1 point every 1 sec, in my case it could get to adding 30 new points in 1sec, so i cant wait for the animation to end.

   i though maybe there is a list of actions that i could add to the end of it every time...

   I'm kinda new in cocos2d :)

   I wouldn't use actions for this. I would manually update the position every tick.

   so i'll need to store a lot of points for that... for the animation to run smoothly
   (every 2 pixels or so.. instead of every 15 pixels and actions to the rest)
   isnt it a waste of memory?

   You have 3 options as I see it:
   1. Use actions. Allocating and using actions on this scale is going to tax resources.
   2. Use chipmunk (not sure about box2d) and apply forces to sprite body. Might be worth looking into.
   3. Manual point updates. You'll have to figure out how to make it smooth. If you maintain an array of points where you pop 1st position each time and you add to the end, I don't think it will be too bad.
