Is there any way to perform a transition when popping a scene? I can't seem to find any indication of how this might be done. Obviously I can just use replaceScene with a transition, but the push / pop mechanism works really well for how I have my menus/game organized.

this seems to work:
Add this to CCDirector.h, just after the declaration -(void)popScene (line 402):
- (void) popSceneWithTransition: (Class)c duration:(ccTime)t;Then add this to CCDirector.m, just after the definition of -(void)popScene (line 768):
-(void) popSceneWithTransition: (Class)transitionClass duration:(ccTime)t;

This is good, but "excellent" would actually receive a CCTransitionScene that you've initialized yourself. This one only uses the default initializer and does not let you do a backwards page turn transition, for example.
But for that there should be a way to set inScene_ in CCTransitionScene. Also you would have to initialize the transition with a nil scene in your code and popSceneWithTransition: would put the bottom scene in there. So it's ugly either way. It's just that these transitions were not designed with popping in mind. I don't know how best to design from here. Maybe we need a CCTransitionDefinition kind of a class? Or CCPopTransitionScene?
