   Guidelines when announcing your game:

   • One post per game. If you have 5 games to announce, it's better to create 5 different threads
   • If your game has a paid and free version, post both of them in the same thread
   • Try to post a video URL (it will be parsed, and the video will be embeded)
   • Try to post screenshots using the the img html tag
   • Describe your game for the gamer audience
   • Describe your game for the developers audience
   • Post the game homepage URL
   • Post the AppStore URL (if applicable, post both free and paid URLs)
   • You could also post promo codes
   • Only announce games that are using cocos2d else, your post will be deleted, and you will be tagged as a bozo user

   yes, I've just disabled image tag because it was breaking the backtick.

   The ability to edit my posts seems to be gone now and I have the image tags in them. Are you fixing the image tags? If not is there some way I can edit my posts to just have links? Thanks.

   Yes, after 60 minutes you can't edit your post.
   I'll edit your post after the <img> tag issue is fixed.

   I feel a little lost, as my post seems to have been redirected to this thread. Did I do something wrong, other than using object to embed my youtube video? I tried to edit my post and change it but when I clicked edit I got redirected to the main page.
   Help?

    @imagineNET: Your post was tagged as spam. You have 2 hours to edit your post.

    @vutronic: yes, but only when it makes sense. For example if your game is going to be released in 1 months, and you have a preview today, post the preview today, and when your game is ready announce it.
    But the general rule is to have 1 thread per game.

    I would like to reiterate the last point of the guidelines:

    Only announce games that are using cocos2d else, your post will be deleted, and you will be tagged as a bozo user

    Please mention that you have used cocos2d (thanking Riq and the other contributors doesn't hurt either).

    Even then your announcement might get automatically flagged as spam - the best way to avoid that is to contribute to the cocos2d forums before you announce your first game.
