I will say I used to have a problem with forum links not going to the correct article or not realizing that I had viewed them already - and thats almost all gone. I dont know if its new forum software, but some things have gotten better for me the past month or so.

But no, use google for search. You can use the site: keyword to narrow it.

yes, the bbPress search functionality is very buggy.
I suggest using google.

1. Search something
2. Go to: "You may also try your search at Google"

Same problem here - it only seems to be when clicking on a search result from the past day. I have this problem in both Firefox and Safari. I would guess that it is a bug in the bbPress software.

It would be nice if, you know, it actually worked? Might help prevent some of the repeat topics if users could actually search old posts before posting a new thread. Just a thought.

Am I the only one who keeps running into bad link problems with the Cocos2d forum search? Around 50% of my search results will all link to "http://www.cocos2d-iphone.org/forum/topic/#post-" and so take me back to the main page instead of the thread that is previewed. Happens with both Safari and Chrome.
