Just submitted Cat Trap v1.1 into Apple, this is the first update to Cat Trap since it was released one month ago. I put a lot of time into this update and it has a lot of new features and improvements.

Whats New

~ Added A Level Editor - Create/Share/Play your very own custom levels. Using bluetooth you can share a custom level with a friend near you!

~ Added sticky blocks - Gets the mouse stuck for a few seconds.

~ Added fire blocks - If mouse pushes one directly, the mouse will get burnt and the player will lose a life.

~ Added fish blocks - Distracts the cats for certain amount of time.

~ Added 25 new levels - All new levels features the new game elements.

~ Added link to website - Now you have a link to our website from the app.

Whats Improved

~ Fixed mouse trap graphics - Previous mouse trap graphics had a few imperfections.

~ Updated OpenFeint - Now using the latest OpenFeint v2.4.4.

~ Cleaner Logo - Improved the graphics of the logo.

~ Cat AI improvements - Improved the cats intelligence and decision making.

~ Starting cat location randomly generated - Cats present at the start of the level are now randomly placed.

~ Lowered requirements for some levels - Lowered the requirements for a few of the levels, decreasing difficulty. This includes required cheese, and suggested time limits.

~ Invincibility to newly spawned cats and mouse. - When a mouse is newly spawned it is invincible for a few seconds, preventing it from dieing. When a cat is newly spawned the mouse is invincible from it for a few second.

My first app was approved and is on the app store! I was shocked how quickly it was approved (4 days, including the weekend). Those who enjoyed Rodents Revenge on Windows in the 90's should also enjoy this game, it shares some of the same elements.

A game of cat and mouse.

You control the mouse as it pushes blocks in attempts to trap the cat before the cat catches the mouse. As you move through the game it increases in difficulty as more cats appear and obstacles get in your way. Two game modes are available including classic and survival mode, this will ensure hours of gameplay value!

Two Distinct Game Modes

• Survival Mode - Essentially a never ending attack by cats, how long will you survive?

• Classic Mode- Work your way through all 25 levels as they progress in difficulty.

High Scores and Achievements

• As you work your way through the game earn achievements for mastering the game.
