hi trsills, Yes, this could be a problem. Since the zit is small, we enlarge the hit area of each zit. So, those areas could have some conflict with each others and could cause the problem you mentioned. We will take deep look and see what we can do.

Thanks for the finding :-)

Hey initialz, took it for a quick drive and in a weird way it certainly makes your hair stand on end. I noticed though that I seemed to have a problem with it accurately registering my touch to a specific location. For instance, I kept wanting to target one point and it seems that I couldn't pick it up or would eventually get an adjacent one even though I kept hitting around the one spot I wanted.

Thanks for the heads up, OpenCV looks like a nice little project.
Ah ok, I thought that looked like some good auto detection going on their!

Just tried the lite version, nice little intro into the game, although you might want to make more of a deal/point that you can use your own photos in the full version (both in the game, & in the iTunes description). I'd personally says thats quite a big selling point.

Will try the full version later, to see the custom photo feature in action.

@PhilM
We actually leverage OpenCV for the face detection. The screen shot above actually has been fixed manually cause the face detection will just return some rectangles of the features on the face.

lol. Thats 2 zit popping cocos2d games in one day! Interesting choice of topic ; )

Looks cleverly done. Do you mind giving an insight into how the face detection works? Is it based on colour ranges? It looks like its pretty accurate.

Will have to check it out. Good luck with it.

Hi, guys

Thanks for cocos2d game engine, we have developed our first iPhone game "Popzit". It's very funny and entertaining. You can use it to practice and improve your skill of popping the zit :-)

It has following major features:

-Play with your own photo: with advanced face detection and drawing tool, you can create face template for pop zit with your own photo.

-Share with your friend: you can take a screenshot for game and share it with your friend by uploading to facebook or sending email.

-Four Different Faces: select a face you like in four different faces including man, lady, boy and girl.

-Three Levels: select a level you want to try, each level contains different amount of zits you got to pop them out in time, and different amount of zits refilled within different timeframes.

-Squeeze Motion: tap on and then pinch zits with your two figures before the time runs out. (If you've squeezed pimples before, you'll know exactly what we talking about ^I^). In addition, a scar will remain on the face after huge zits is broken. To clean the scar, click drug icon at the bottom left, and then tap on the scar.

-Three Different Types of Zits: small, medium and huge, each have different sound effects.

-Quick Save And Resume: whenever the game exists(for example, because you receive a phone call), your current game will be saved automatically. Then you could continue playing your game next time.

-Animated Help: enter the help page, watch a set of animations which will show you how to play this game.

-Nice Page Transition: 3D Cube Transition is the new page transition designed for this game.
