Ya.. It is now somewhere around 15. May be because of the millions of available users updating it? Anyway, the news got spread out that quickly about the update after an year of release and that's amazing. That might be something to do with the doctor's marketing tactics. Besides that, the algorithm apple use to rank is not understandable.

I have read somewhere one of the game doctors, Thomas has invented a hot wireless technology. But couldn't find any info on that. Will be happy if someone share something about it.

I don't remember seeing any application that could peak so high after an update before. Big congrats on that !

Great game guys! Im wondering what program the graphics for the zombie characters was made in. Im lovin the polished, clean look of the zombies! Also, how was some of the 3D perspective achieved? ...the blood on the floor seems to extend back into the z axis i think... also was anything done to the zombie character animations to make them look more 3D-ish? Im just starting out with Cocos2D and i think this is probably the best game made on this platform. Hopefully you'll be able to answer some of these questions. Congratulations on your success!

Hi greyhoundgames,

as soon as something collides with a walking zombie, we switch from the animation system to the physics system. There are never both systems working at the same time on a zombie. Hmm, thats not correct, we can use the animation system on one body part and physics on another. So they are never working together on the same body part. E.g. you can shoot on the arm of a walking zombie and this arm will switch to physics mode and dangle correctly at the walking body. Hope thats somehow understandable :)

Hey zombie! It was nice to go up the ranks with you, until you left warlords in the dust. But still an honor :)
I had a quick question. I also use a skeletal animation system. My question is, my animations are like move hand to x1,y1 then x2,y2, then x3,y3.etc
How do you match that up with when your physics engine throws movement into the body part. IE how does it recover back to what its supposed to be. Does the animation part go "limp" until the zombie settles down and then continues on where it left off or something?

And yeah boohoo those 2 apps as they bumped us down to #13
