			<description><p>Are you tired of boring little trashy "flick and forget" games yet? I know I am. That's why I set out to prove that even with a concept as tired as Angry Birds, you can create gameplay that is easy to learn and challenging to master together with a presentation that is engaging and humorous. How about instead of making the player feel like an idiot because their three year old has more stars, giving the player a real gaming experience that takes skill to complete, and makes the player feel accomplished when they finally beat the final boss? Let's put the "GAME" back in "Mobile Games". </p>
<p>I've been developing a runner/action type game. Basically, this is the polar opposite of Angry Birds - you're a pig fighting off birds in a fast paced setting. The engine is almost completely done, I just need actual assets to progress. Lucky for you, my aspiring artists, I'm not half bad with a pen and pad, and am providing detailed sketches of every major frame for the player character, enemies, and environment. You will have to follow the art style I provide exactly. I'm looking for bold, saturated colors. Cartoony, but not entirely generic if you get my drift.</p>
<p>This game has some pretty cool stuff in it. The engine supports game speed modification (for example, bullet time), and has a fake camera that can be used to zoom the game environment in and out. Even the bosses have a unique finishing sequence. This is definitely a great opportunity for anyone interested in mobile games.</p>
<p>Obviously, I don't have the budget of a full studio since I've done this all in my spare time, but I'm willing to pay for quality. Send me a message or email (my user name @gmail.com) with the following. If I like what I see, I'll send you a simplified game doc so you can see all the enemies and such.</p>

- all frames in vector format (Illustrator)<br />

			<description><p>hi there i know a lot of people will slate me for asking for a student or hobbyist graphic designer as they will think i want something for nothing , this is not the case. Anybody who has made a iphone game knows that it is hard work for little reward and thats the case i have had with my first iphone game cave shooter.hence why funds are low.</p>
<p>now to the grit.what i need</p>
<p>A complete set of graphics for the follow up to Cave Shooter with themed levels,end level boss and player character/ship and some menu stuff.There is nothing complicated and should not take the long to produce but can discuss in detail later.</p>

I am currently developing a mobile game and I am currently looking for an artist to do a small job. </p>
<p>We need 3 2D animated designs of 3 birds, in spritesheets if possible. The birds are small, medium, and large (each with a different design, but somewhat similar). We only need to show a side and front profile of the birds flying, a static front profile of the birds sitting, a front profile of the birds eating (it's pecking the ground), and the birds visibly getting bigger (width-wise) to a certain degree as they eat. There should also be transitions between the side and front flying stages. How the birds would look like is entirely up to the designer. Our artistic creativity is somewhat lacking so the the best description I can offer you right now is something not too cute, but not realistic, and not similar to angry birds please!</p>
<p>Please do keep in mind that this is a self-funded project so indie-pricing would be appreciated. </p>

The game is called Millions of Monsters, and it has been available on the windows phone marketplace for almost 2 months now. I now have over 2100 players and growing every day. The reviews so far are pretty awesome as well. This may not seem like a lot but the user base on windows phone is much smaller than iphone/ipads :)</p>

<p>I think the most unique feature of the game is the fact that players create the content for the game themselves. In fact I've been pleasantly surprised by the amount of content they have created. So far, more than 5000 monsters created by players have been added to the database. Other players can then battle these monsters using their party.</p>
<p>The game is built following a thin client/server architecture. The server side is accessible via a standard REST api. The client itself is thin in the sense that there is not much logic on it, it's mostly just displaying data and taking input. I don't think it would take a lot of time to do the port to iOS for a veteran developer.</p>
<p>The game is pretty addictive (like most online rpgs) and would be perfect for a in-app purchase model. As of right now the business model on windows phone is showing ads in game.</p>
<p>The reason I am seeking help is :<br />
1)The server is still evolving, feature wise. I am adding new, exciting features in the following weeks/months.<br />
2)I have zero experience on iOS<br />
3)This game is in many ways a mmo. I cannot maintain by myself the server code base, the windows phone port, the game tools used to create content AND work on other port at the same time.</p>

<p>What I'm wanting to do is create an iOS app with AI so that people can experience the gameplay and drive some interest in the print version of the game.</p>
<p>Being an individual, with no revenue stream so far, I'm proposing a profit sharing agreement. Basically, once we agree on the basic price, I'd give you 100% of all profits until you've made 2/3 of the agreed upon price and 50% of all profits after that.</p>
<p>I used to be  programmer so I can probably write the AI in pseudocode to give to the programmer, to make the process a little easier. I already have all the art and everything that would be needed for the cards, icon, etc.</p>

I'm planning on doing some beta testing this week for my upcoming application, "Slice 'n Dice Ninja".  You may or may not have seen it floating around on the board over the past few months, but it is essentially a ragdoll-physics based castle defense game. 			<description><p>Yup I'm here again.  It seems I can't find anyone reliable.  I really don't understand what in the world is wrong with people.  Here is a copy of the email I just got today from the guy I was working with this last month....</p>
<p>Hey man - been at my GF's since saturday, and my phone died sometime over the weekend. </p>
<p>I'm starting more and more to realize how hopeless it is to develop stuff for the mobile platforms - but then again I might just be lacking motivation temporarily. As of the now, all iOS projects of mine have been put on hold. </p>
<p>Why I've lost motivation? A gaming experience on your cellphone is brain dead entertainment. You never flip our your iPhone or iPad to fully immerse yourself in an epic gaming experience. You do it when you're going #<a href='http://www.cocos2d-iphone.org/forum/tags/2'>2</a> or waiting for the bus. I think I've failed to realize that up until now. Most of all, I want - nay, need - to make a gaming experience so epic, immersive and thorough that you fire up the game not because you're bored, but because the gaming experience is that good.</p>
<p>I might get the motivation needed to finish up the iOS projects I current am involved in, but chances are I'm cancelling the ones I have started on myself, and also bailing out of Balloon Fighters. I hope you understand I never planned to bail on this project when I first accepted it, but when the motivation is lacking, it's a really huge burden to bear to work 3-5 hours a day on a hobby basis with the quite big risk of never earning a single dime off of it. For this reason I am also discaring some 400+ hours of my own work. </p>
<p>I feel sorry that I'm just another lame-ass programmer that bails on you, but at the end of the day I view my work as art, and as an artist it's meaningless to keep doing something if you've lost belief in the project - which is this case is the entire iOS platform in general. </p>
<p>Until you have to make actual quality applications for them to be accepted onto the AppStore, I'm probably going to stay far away from it. Spending 400 hours on a project only to be outsold by a fart-app is about as fun as an ear infection. The platform is broken.</p>
<p>What in the world is wrong with people and why is there no one reliable out there???<br />
Why commit to something then totally bail..  This guy was working on the game like it would be done in a month and then he just quit! LOL WTF!???</p>
<p>So back to square one.....here is my initial job post.  Please respond again with interest but ONLY IF YOU ARE SERIOUS!!!  PLEASE DO NOT WASTE MY TIME!!!!  I have put alot of work into this and so far I have wasted a year with people who quite frankly have 0 interest in becoming successful.  I have dealt with many people in my life doing business online since 2003....I have never met such unreliable people in my life.  This is crazy!</p>

<p>I have put alot of time in developing this idea and all the aspects involved in the game....music, art, animations, concept, and some programming even....<br />
The game is loosely based on an old VERY SUCCESSFUL game from the 80s. The game is perfect for Ipad and Iphone and can quite possibly be the super mario quality game for the iphone. And I have no hesitation in saying that! I also have resources for advertising the game, because the game doesn't just make you millions over night. I have already in place a ton of web traffic, and plan on shooting commercials, creating bumper stickers, just to name some of the wild ideas I have in place to move forward on as soon as I have someone reliable and trustworthy working with me.</p>
<p>I also have planned to update the game each month with new characters, new levels, and best of all NEW GAMEPLAY MODES, that are all sure to keep people coming back. I am an avid gamer with thorough understanding of the concepts that make a game popular. I'm not just in it for the money but also for the love and passion I have for gaming.</p>
<p>I need a trust worthy programmer who can take this journey with me as an equal share partner who will make this concept come to life once and for all. The programming would take about 2 months to complete at MOST and can quite possibly be done by someone without much experience. Most important is I need someone I can trust who wont bail on the project. I am putting 7 months of work (from my side) in your hands!</p>

<p>Yes there is alot to complete but there is also alot done.<br />
I'm sure there are a few more loose ends here and there but this is the bulk of the work remaining.</p>
