And FarmVille, the popular Facebook game, which is now available for the iPhone / iPod Touch.

How do you know that these apps use cocos2d?

The Elements says so in the Credits screen.
FarmVille doesn’t have any Credits screen, but I’ve analyzed the .ipa file, and I can confirm that it is using cocos2d.
